Blue cheese made deep in the Picos de Europa, just outside of the province of Leon.
Produced with a blend of cow´s and goat´s milks, Valdeon is sought after because it is milder than PDO Cabrales and is characteristically wrapped in maple leaves for an appealing presentation. It has an excellent balance of sweet and tangy with an earthy finish.
